Damien Minna, a 1997 graduate of SMCHS, inspires his family, friends, and community

daily with his determination to fully recover from a spinal cord injury he suffered in

August, 2004.  His words, “I will fight until I have no fight left” reflect his courage and

passion for life.  After three long years of intensive rehabilitation and physical therapy,

Damien actually took a step at Project Walk!  However, his treatment continues to be

extremely expensive and funding has run dry.  The Texas Hold ‘em Poker Tournament

organizers hope that soon Damien will be walking on his own and that funds raised at this

tournament will help him to achieve this goal. 

Help us prove that miracles can truly happen!

Tournament Details

You can come and play in the tournament or simply attend the event to support Damien!

·         Entry Fee of $125.00 includes dinner and two drink tickets good for beer, wine,

soft drinks and/or water.

·         Four (4) hour tournament begins promptly at 6:00 pm.  Registered and non-registered

players should arrive no later than 5:00 pm to sign in and complete the registration

process.  Those arriving late to the tournament are subject to forfeit

their entry fees.

·         Additional drink tickets may be purchased at the event.

·         Must be 16 or older to enter.

·         Prizes will be awarded to the Top 5 players including:

                    Big Screen TV

                    Laptop computer

                    IPod Touch

                    Nintendo Wii gaming console

                    Set of Men’s Wilson Golf Clubs

·         Re-buys will be available.     

·         50/50 Raffle and door prizes.

·         Professional tables and dealers at the event.

A boutique featuring jewelry, purses, belts, designer jeans & other clothing 

& home décor items !!!

Please return the completed registration form and entry fee by June 14, 2008

in order to confirm the number of gaming tables needed. Entries received after

June 14, 2008 will be based on availability and will be on a first come, first served basis.
